Slider
After referencing the Slider produced by Dr. Churchill in the Blog,
- I changed my mind in using the slider.
- Before, I think slider is used ONLY in numerical data (e.g. numbers)
or arbitary values (e.g. +/- volume in the audio channel)
- Now, I have broaden my mind in using a slider to allow the [...]

Digital Story Telling (My Thoughts)
Before looking at the products produced by former Dr. Churchill’s students, I was still not having any concrete idea on what I can do in a Digital Story (PhotoStory Task)
After I have learnt from the above examples, I have a more concrete and “practical” mind in producing my own Digital Story.

Planning Process
(The above screen is captured from Dr. Churchill’s PPT Slide)
(The words in Red is the captions recorded by myself.)

Lesson #4 (Reflection)

For example, a simple calculator can be used for students to investigate a lot of mathematical patterns / numeric trends quickly, e.g. decimal multiplication, addition, divisibility, etc….
The [...]

Lesson #2 (Reflection)
After Lesson #2, I have got the below points:
(1) Feedback of Self-Intro PPT Slide:
when you design the slide, pls think of the ways for the people to read text and read image (e.g. the order to read: from left to right or vice versa, from top down or else?)
how you can use text [...]

Lesson #1 (Reflection)
February 25th, 2007 · No Comments
After Lesson #1, I have got the below points:
(1)
Re-presentation (transformation) of data (change of data-appearance and organization) is important for the students to learn (graphical representation, interactivity, point-form text, tables, charts, etc…)
(2)
Children can memorize more things in terms of visual display, objects or scenario RATHER
than pages of text.
(3)
Interaction can be added in the visual display [...]
